General information

Software, not slideware

QOSST Day is built around actually running the platform — from architecture to a live key exchange — alongside talks on where CV-QKD experiments are headed next.

QOSST (Quantum Open Software for Secure Transmissions) is a modular, hardware-agnostic open-source suite for continuous-variable quantum key distribution, initiated by the Quantum Information team at LIP6. It aims at providing all necessary steps for CV-QKD, including digital signal processing, control of the equipment, network operations, error correction and privacy amplification.

This workshop is open for anyone that wants to participate in the development of QOSST or use the software: researchers working on CV-QKD and/or adapting QOSST to new setups, and anyone evaluating open-source QKD tooling for their own lab.

No prior QOSST experience is required, but a working knowledge of continuous-variable quantum key distribution will help following the sessions.
